Set out aboard an expedition ship for a true Arctic adventure in a land of magnificent extremes. Gape at the mountainous fjords of Svalbard's south and marvel at wildlife in the northwest that thrives despite harsh conditions. Explore the polar deserts of Hinlopen Strait and, conditions permitting, the edge of the north polar pack ice. Venture by land and sea into one of the largest protected areas in the Arctic to reach remote beaches, glacier fronts and historic sites. Keep watch for reindeer, Arctic foxes, walruses, seals, whales and polar bears and hundreds of species of seabird. Aboard a ship that can easily navigate areas of Svalbard others can't, and with a fleet of Zodiacs at the ready, exploration is guaranteed – although your exact route will be shaped by the whims of Mother Nature!
