Arrive at Bari Airport or train station where you will be met for your private transfer to Trani, one of Puglia’s charming Adriatic towns. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, perhaps exploring the historic centre or strolling along the waterfront. Overnight at Palazzo Paciotti or similar.

In the morning, meet at Santa Teresa Church and travel to Castel del Monte, the remarkable octagonal fortress built by Frederick II and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After exploring the castle with your local guide, return to Trani for a Moscato di Trani wine experience, including a tasting and introduction to the area’s winemaking traditions. The afternoon is at leisure. At 6 pm, discover Trani on a sunset walking tour, visiting the Cathedral, Jewish Quarter and Villa Comunale, followed by an aperitif. Check-out and departure from Santa Teresa Church. Enjoy a genuine hands-on session at a local dairy farm, where you'll prepare and savour traditional mozzarella and burrata Wrap up with a with a guided extra virgin olive oil tasting at a family-run mill. Arrival in Bari early afternoon and check-in at the hotel. At 6pm join the sunset guided tour of Bari Old Town from the Swabian Castle. Overnight stay in Bari at Hotel Boston or similar. (B)

Morning departure for Alberobello and a guided walk through the UNESCO-listed trulli district, meeting local artisans and hearing the stories behind these unique dry-stone houses. Continue to Polignano a Mare for tasting stops featuring traditional focaccia and the famous Polignano coffee, followed by a walking tour through the historic centre and its panoramic sea-view terraces. Return to Bari. Afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Bari at Hotel Boston or similar. (B)

Departure for Matera, the extraordinary stone-carved city listed by UNESCO. Guided tour of the Sassi district, including a cave house, a rupestrian church and an Amaro Lucano tasting, with free time until early afternoon. Check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy Matera at a relaxed pace and admire the spectacular sunset over the ancient stone city, one of the most memorable experiences in Southern Italy. Overnight stay at a 4-star boutique hotel in the Sassi district. (B)

Transfer from Matera to Lecce and check-in at the hotel. The day opens with an authentic papier-mâché workshop, one of Lecce's most iconic artistic traditions, including a tasting of traditional coffee and pasticciotto, the beloved local pastry. At 5pm, meet the guide at Piazza Sant'Oronzo for a tour of the “Florence of the South”: Baroque churches, hidden courtyards, Roman remains and lively squares, ending with a pleasant aperitif. Overnight in Lecce at Hotel President or similar. (B)
